International Summer AcademyThe annual residential summer school of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra through the years 2006 – 2008 developed into an International Summer Music Academy with the participation of distinguished teachers and advanced students from many countries. The Academy is organized in the high mountain village of Pedoulas (ca. 1200m. above sea level) during the last two weeks of August. In the first week is mainly given over to master classes and chamber music training, whereas the second week is devoted to the preparation of a symphonic programme. Additionally, there are daily lunch-time concerts, open to the public and there evening concerts at the end of each week. INTERNATIONAL SUMMER ACADEMY 2010
