Tribute to the Independence Day
Within the Kypria International Festival 2014
This production will take us back to our roots and to the heritage left behind by Cyprus’ previous generations. With over 35 dancers and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra musicians, the choreography by Margarita Makridou will be a path infiltrating the images in the world of Adamantios Diamantis.
The programme will include symphonic arrangements of Cypriot folk music and works by Cypriot composers inspired by the Cypriot musical tradition.
