Pallas Theatre Hall Rental

Pallas Cinema-Theatre was created at the beginning of 1950 after an initiative of a group of prominent citizens. The architect was Totis Stavrinides and the management team was made up of Chirilli de Nores, Michalis Stavrinides, G. Hortovatsis and Spyros Papageorgiou. The golden age of Pallas Theatre was during the 1950s, 60s up until 1974. During this time, Pallas Theatre was used both as a cinema and a theatre stage, hosting well-known theatre companies from abroad. After 1974 its quality as movie-theatre dropped and it operated up until the late 1990s when it was bought by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture. That is when its renovation began, covered by both national and European funds during the period 2005-2009. After the collapse of the Lefkosia Municipal Theatre in 2008, its management was undertaken by the Municipality of Lefkosia and since 2015, by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation.
