Violinist Krasen Penev has distinguished himself both as a soloist and experienced concertmaster. From 1992 to 2004, he successfully led the Cairo Symphony over a large diverse symphonic repertoire as well as the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra in more soloistic and chamber works. While in Cairo, Krasen appeared as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra and frequently performed other solo and chamber music recitals. In addition, he appeared as a soloist in his native country with the Burgas Philarmonic and the Sliven Symphony as well as in Holland, England and Italy. He has performed the violin concertos of Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Bruch, Brahms and Tchaikovsky in several Bulgarian cities. In addition to performing, Krasen Penev has devoted himself to teaching. While in Cairo, he taught violin at the British International School and the Modern English School. He is currently a member of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and a teacher of young violinists of the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra. Entrance Free

Guitarist Dimitris Regginos has been active performing worldwide since 1996, having given more than 300 concerts in Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Spain, France and Japan. He is the first prize winner of the prestigious International Guitar Competitions of Volos, Greece (1990), Kutna Hora, Chech Republic (1996) and Tokyo, Japan (1997). He also won 2nd prize in Tokyo, Japan (1996), and 3rd prizes in Krakow, Poland (1991) and “A. Augustine memorial” Bath, UK (1997), having been a finalist in numerous other international competitions. As a soloist Mr Regginos has appeared with orchestras such as the Russia State Academic Chamber Orchestra (1998), the Divertissement Chamber Orchestra (St. Petersburg, 2003), the Ural Symphony Orchestra (2003), the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra (1997, 2001, 2006) Chamber-Symphonic Orchestra of the Ukranian Armed Forces (2007). Dimitris Regginos is frequently invited to perform and give masterclasses in International Guitar Festivals, among others in Volos, Veroia, Belgrade, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Sofia, Plovdiv, Vilnius, Kiev, Tokyo and Osaka. Apart from solo recitals, chamber music making forms an important part of his concert activities.
