This year’s Pafos Aphrodite Festival presents Gaetano Donizetti’s famous opera L’ elisir d’amore (The elixir of love), which has been charming audiences around the world for nearly two centuries with its humour, romance and memorable melodies.
Presented by the Armenian National Academic Opera & Ballet Theatre, this compelling new production transports the story into a symbolic post-apocalyptic landscape, offering a fresh, contemporary perspective on this enduring drama.
Τhe Cyprus Symphony Orchestra proudly participates in the production, conducted by the world-acclaimed conductor Karen Durgaryan, Chief Conductor of the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
