ΤΗΕ HISTORY OF VIDEO GAMES” EXPO

Address

The History of Video Games comes to life at the Pallas Theatre foyer, in a unique exhibition tracing the evolution of video game consoles!

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, in collaboration with the Video Games Museum, presents the exhibition “The History of Video Games”, a journey through consoles that marked different generations of players and helped shape the global culture of gaming.
Through selected exhibits from the Video Games Museum’s collection, visitors will have the opportunity to discover iconic consoles from different periods and follow the evolution of video games: from the earliest home systems and the era of pixels to the latest generations of gaming platforms. Each console represents a small piece of a much larger story – a story of technological development, creativity and entertainment, as well as personal memories shared by millions of people around the world.
The exhibition is aimed both at those who grew up holding a controller, and at younger generations wishing to discover how one of the most significant cultural and technological phenomena of our time began and evolved.
The Video Games Museum is the first museum in Greece dedicated to the history and culture of video games. Its collection includes more than 400 consoles, rare games, controllers, publications and objects from different periods of gaming history, while its activities focus on preserving, researching and highlighting the cultural heritage of video games.
